BRIEF

Dune Display is a full typeface (ASCII set) high-contrast sans serif font, aiming for unconventional forms.

Sketches

Exploring different weights and contrast of fonts while maintaining a continuous flow.

Inspiration

The Dune Display showcases the natural beauty of the desert's continuous and flowing curves and layers. It draws inspiration from the rhythmic patterns found on the windward side and slip face of dunes.

Final Typeface

Treating each letter as a building block, like a Lego piece, enables them to be combined and formed into new letters.
